A Tribute to LL&I

When the two lines appeared,
And when the tears of joy had cleared.
My first trip was to LL&I.

When we needed a fun way to share the news
with grandparents-to-be, uncles, and aunties too
I found the perfect frame at LL&I.

We were thrilled with joy,
Would it be a girl or boy?
Let's be prepared...another trip to LL&I!

And then we learned it's a girl!
She needed ribbons and a tutu in which to twirl.
Of course I found them at LL&I.

She arrived in Jan. '08,
And (embarrassingly) hasn't really repeated an outfit to date.
All thanks to LL&I.

And now LL&I - Memphis is closing down.
We'll desperately miss the best taste and service in town.
Thank goodness we have a trip planned to SC in the fall!
